Toy Car Wash Restoration Project

Fully-functional toy car wash includes water jets, brushes and a recycling system to wash your Matchboxes. Dad built this 25 years ago while away on TDY in Panama. Should be a neat little restoration project.

  • Special pricing today, regular prices on the other side of the sign are a dollar more.
  • Open/Closed sign.
  • Water jets go in here along with the usual brushes &etc. All water that comes in from the external tank (not attached) gets caught in the trap at the bottom of the car wash and gets re-used.
  • Water tank (not attached) uses a pump from a hand soap dispenser to power the whole thing. Hoses for the valves (also not shown) that control each part of the wash are situated in the four holes in the roof at left.
  • Dad claims the damnedest part was getting the doors at either end to work properly.
